Kosher Australia (previously Melbourne Kashrut) was formed in 1994 from an amalgamation of Mizrachi Kashrut and Rabbi Mordechai Gutnick's Kashrut activities. Since then our responsibilities have continued to expand with an ever-increasing number of businesses and services seeking our hashgacha.
The purpose of this website is to provide up to date information on Kashrut in Melbourne, Australia to the public that keeps and consumes Kosher.
While the Food guide lists approved and/or certified Kosher products available for retail sale, it is correct at the time of posting to the website. All products that claim to be Kosher must be under Rabbinic supervision. Therefore, any firm and product that fails to be under such supervision should not be used. We do not take responsibility for the Kosher status of products advertised in our Guide unless they are listed as being approved or certified.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The Food Guide lists kosher approved and kosher certified products available for retail/whole sale and is correct at time of posting to the website.
