- Rabbi Mordechai Gutnick – Rabbinic Administrator
Having held Rabbinic posts in both Sydney and Melbourne, Rabbi Gutnick is currently the Rav of Elwood Hebrew Congregation in Melbourne, a position he has held since the retirement of his late father Rabbi Chaim Gutnick z”l. Rabbi Gutnick is currently the acting Av Beth Din of the Melbourne Beth Din. He is highly respected in the field of kashrut and was appointed Rabbinic Administrator in 1997. Joining Melbourne Kashrut in 1979, Mr Oliver holds a BAppSc (Chemistry), is a member of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute and a Chartered Chemist. With almost 25 years experience, Mr Oliver is the pre-eminent technical authority in Kosher Certification in the Southern Hemisphere. - A former member of Kollel Menachem Lubavitch, Rabbi Barber was appointed Rabbinic Consultant in 2000. He is also the Rav of South Caulfield Hebrew Congregation and serves on the Melbourne Beth Din. His expertise is in the field of Kosher licensing. His email address is barbery@kosher.org.au.
- Rabbi Nachman Sofer – Rabbinic Consultant
- A current senior member of Kollel Beth HaTalmud, Rabbi Sofer is primarly responsible for the production of the Caterer’s Handbook. He is also a member of the team who ensures the kashrut of the Melbourne Eruv each week. Rabbi Sofer joined in 2001. He can be reached at sofern@kosher.org.au.
